CITYSCAPES

Cities have their own rhythms — the hour before dawn when the streets belong to no one, the minute when the light catches glass and steel in a way that lasts for thirty seconds and then disappears. These images were made in Melbourne, Cinque Terre, and cities across Europe and Asia, at the edges of the day when architecture and atmosphere briefly become the same thing.
